Elise Watson of ABC Bees will be doing a presentation. If you don’t know Elise you can check out here Bio HERE
Worker and Hive has donated fabulous prizes and we will be cooking up some beef on a bun and Vegetarian sloppy joes.
We will not be having an official honey competition this year, but fear not. We will be having a Members Choice Honey Competition sponsored by Worker and Hive Bee Supply.
Here are the details.
There will be 2 categories
  • Liquid
  • Creamed
Every Jar will need a write up on why your honey is the best. This can be anything at all, serious, funny, something to convince the honey testers to vote for you. (just keep it clean and no names on your description or your jars)
Your honey will be assigned a number so it will be anonymous.
All the honey will be set up for testing (Points for presentation)
If you wish to test the honey and vote. You will be given a test plate and a voting ballot.
The 2 jars of honey to receive the most votes (one in each category)  will win a fabulous prize donated by worker and hive. There will also be a prize for best write up and jar presentation so get those thinking caps on.
The Wildwood Community Center has a lovely skating rink so come early, bring the kids or grandkids have a skate and stay for the fun.
