21 years and counting….a trusted & preferred source of Honeybees to hundreds of beekeepers around Alberta.  We’re veteran Beekeepers and we sell only the highest Quality Nucs to both veterans and beginners alike!!  We’re excited & passionate about  honeybees, dedicated our lives to the craft, and our actions show it.  We’re active CDBA members & Volunteers!  

Our Premium deep 4 frame Honeybee Nucs with laying Kona (Italian/Carnolian), and Kona lineage breed of Queens is the best way to get your Beekeeping season off to a strong start.  These are locally raised Alberta Honeybees, utilizing Kona Queens, which are amongst the Highest Quality and most popular Queens in the world, Bar none!!  They are bred & selected to produce a very gentle mannered, easy to work with, and extremely productive Honeybee!  They’re great for First time beekeepers & Veterans alike, and are very easy to work with and manage!! Additionally, the resulting colonies are excellently suited for Alberta’s cold over-wintering months.  Nucs are great way to get your Beekeeping started because the colony tends to be much better established (usually stronger) than what a Package of bees typically would be.  Package Bees travel long Distances and are often stressed by the Long Trans-Atlantic journey leading to an often exhausted & weaker colony.  Local Honeybees are best suited for local Alberta Beekeepers (they aren’t shipped across provincial boundaries, stressed and then marked up for Profit from you, only).  Nucs come pre-Treated for Varroa, Nosema, and AFB and are ready for installation. Orders typically are ready for Pickup Late May/early June (weather dependent). As a 20 year beekeeping veteran, we have an excellent record of providing quality and highly productive Honeybees to members of the CDBA and the beekeeping community.  Our focus is on Excellence & Quality.  That Excellence & Quality is passed on to you to ensure you receive the Best Nucs in Alberta!  In Addition to your Nuc, we work with you to guide you through your Beekeeping Journey, helping you along the way as much as we can.  Any Questions about the Honeybees, just reach out and ask!  We raise them ourselves and can speak to them directly!

We are located out of Calgary, all Bees are locally raised Prairie Alberta Honeybees, not imported from out of Province only to be marked up on you and resold for profit!

Your Nuc order includes:

• 4 deep frame Nuc box with
• 1 actively laying Kona Queen (all the way from Hawaii)
• 4.5 Kg (approximately) or more of bees (10 lbs of bees)
• 2 strong deep frames of brood and young larvae (all stages) covered with Bees.
• 2 strong deep frames of feed(Honey) and Pollen covered with Bees.

Now accepting orders for standard 4 deep frame Nucs for Spring Delivery ($335 per nuc).  There is only a limited supply of Nucs so place your order(s) early to ensure that your order will be filled.
